The DCCV Blog
Do you have your Texas Wine Passport yet?
The wine trail passport is free and a fun way to get familiar with Texas wines. The Go Texan website sponsors the passport and the 2010 rewards are getting bigger and better. This wine trail passport program has gotten the attention of the San Antonio Express News (click to see the article).
If you don't already have a passport and can't wait for the mail, we have plenty here in the tasting room already stamped and numbered. Each passport requires that you visit just 4 wineries. You go to the gotexanwine.org website to redeem your passport and then you can get a 2nd and all they way to a 12th passport to receive incredible rewards like an overnight stay for 2, private in home wine tasting for 20 and many more.
If you are thinking there are not enough wineries to fill up 12 passports then think again, here is a listing of available trails: http://gotexanwine.org/texaswinetrails/
