Chocolate Truffle and Wine Pairing, May 8th

Sabrina
Join Dry Comal Creek Vineyards and Cathy's Sweets for a wine and truffle pairing event. Wines to pair with dark chocolate: Can I just say I love dark chocolate? It is by far my favorite form of dessert and for good reason, it will pair perfectly with several favorite red wine and port options. When considering a dark chocolate and wine pairing try our White Black Spanish or 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon as forerunners on your list of pairing partners, both of these varietals have the capacity to bring a dark chocolate up a notch with their slightly bitter, often roasted, mocha nuances that they bring to the table. If you want to venture into a fortified wine category, then grab a sip of White Port or 1096 Red Port for perfection.

For each case purchased in the Tasting Room on May 8th, receive a 30% discount (excludes Port) and four chocolate truffles. No reservations required.

I was wondering the cost of the event. Do you puchase the glass and sample the truffle? or is it a package deal? i would like to bring my roomate for her birthday but i need a better idea of the cost involved. thanks for your help and have a wonderful day.

Cost of Truffles

Each truffle is $2.00 then a single select non-reserve tasting is 1.00 per wine, a reserve select tasting is $1.50 per reserve and a port tasting is $5.00 for 1/2 oz pour.
