2010 Demi-Sweet French Colombard. $17.99.
Just like its ‘bone-dry’ sister, French Colombard is a grape that has been long neglected in the United States. It is well known in France for another reason in that the French Colombard grape is classically used to make cognac. If you are a cognac drinker, you will recognize the familiar taste. In addition, French Colombard grapes are the second most produced grape in California behind Chardonnay. French Colombard juice is naturally sweet and is used in sweetening baby food.
Made in a demi-sweet style with 2% residual sugar. Light and fruity with apricot, lemon peel and peach flavors. The fruit, sugars and acid are in perfect balance creating a phenomenal mouthfeel. The sweetness and acid are obvious on the finish but a hint of minerality really helps tie this wine together. It’s a great “Backyard” wine that will go along with BBQ, seafood and pastas.
• 2% Residual Sugar • 12.5% Alcohol • 430 cases produced • Bottled February 2011

Comal Red X. $17.99.
This is our proprietary red wine designed by Dry Comal Creek Vineyards as a “signature-type” wine. A palate full of nutmeg, blueberry, and cherry with a cinnamon finish. It is a copy of a style very well known in Hungary known as “Ausbruch”. In Hungary, if you order red wine, inevitably it will be sweet because that is their style. But they can be extremely delicious, very rich and very fulfilling red wines. This is our attempt to copy the Hungarian “Ausbruch”. You will find it not too sweet, and has an extremely smooth, rich taste. Serve well chilled with any kind of hefty foods such as barbeque, Italian food particularly red sauces. It is our best selling red wine. Nothing else this side of Hungary even comes close.
• 2.5% Residual Sugar • 12.5% Alcohol • 1700 cases produced • Bottled November 2010
All wine shipments require an adult signature upon delivery.
