Pinot Noir

It became famous because of the movie “Sideways” – which, as we all know, did no favors for Merlot – but Pinot Noir has been the wine of choice for serious oenophiles for decades. We’ll look at the history of the notoriously finicky Pinot Noir grape, its history and its current status.

Oh yes, and there most definitely will be tastings of Pinots from around the world, including France, New Zealand, California and Oregon. We might even slip in a Merlot just to see if anyone is paying attention.
