2009 Foot Pressed

2009 Foot Pressed Red.  $13.99.

A rich, smooth light red wine with fruit, full mouth feel and light tannins. The back label lists the individuals that personally "foot pressed" the grapes on a hot Texas afternoon at our 2008 annual grape-stomp.

A blend of  2007 Texas Cabernet Sauvignon (50%)  and 2007 Texas Merlot (50%) grapes makes this a fun signature wine for sipping or mix it up with grapefruit soda to make your very own Sangria.

2008 Cabernet Sauvignon. $19.99.

A blend of Temecula, California 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon (87%) and Cabernet Franc (13%) makes this deep ruby wine medium bodied with a fruity front and long spicy finish. This wine has low tannins and balanced acids.  It is a true “Texas Style®” wine in that we attempt to make all of our wines different from the style that the wine would ordinarily occupy.

2007 Merlot.  * Was $18.99, On Special For $10.99 *

Ruby colored with a clear rim, and has aromas and flavors of raspberries, cassis, bing cherries, violets, and vanilla. It is unlike most other Merlots in that it is light bodied with a fruity front and a long oaky finish. People find it exceptionally fine on the palate.  This wine is a blend of grapes from Texas and Lodi region in California.

The 2007 Merlot goes extremely well with the ordinary meals that you would serve with a Merlot, but it has the extra ability to challenge the palate with the spiciness that it has.
